Masters in Social Work scholarships
The NASW Foundation offers MSW scholarships that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion and assist NASW student members pursuing a variety of social work specialties. Apply now for scholarships involving work with African American communities (six scholarships available, $4,333 each) and with American Indian/Alaska Native and Hispanic/Latino populations (up to 10 scholarships, $4,000 each). |

This scholarship is offered by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) for one academic year to a Master of Social Work degree candidate who demonstrates an interest in or has experience with health/mental health practice and has a commitment to working in the African American community. |

The Nonprofit Sector Research Fund, a grant-making program of the Aspen Institute in Washington, D.C., annually offers the William Randolph Hearst Endowed Scholarship. The scholarship, which is based on academic excellence and need, is open to both undergraduate and graduate students who are members of minority groups. |

Students must be attending a school in the U.S. The Foundation does not award scholarships or grants, nor does it accept applications from foreign students. |

This scholarship is awarded to master's degree candidates in social work who have demonstrated a commitment to working with, or who have a special affinity with, American Indian/Alaska Native and Hispanic/Latino populations. Candidates who have demonstrated a commitment to working with public or voluntary nonprofit agencies or with local grassroots groups in the United States are also eligible. |
