Why did you choose Bluffton?
I chose Bluffton for the community aspect. I have found many great friends through softball and my major.
Why did you choose your major? Are your classes helpful?
I chose my major because I have always had a passion for working with youth. Seeing students work to reach the AHA! moment is very rewarding.
What type of job do you want following graduation? What are your career goals?
I hope to obtain a teaching job out of college. It has been a goal of mine to become a second-grade teacher as well as become a softball or basketball coach.
Tell us about Bluffton鈥檚 faculty, staff, and coaches. Are they helping you reach your goals?
My professors at Bluffton have never hesitated to work with me and push me to be the best student that I can be. I also have found a great family on the softball team where my coach has pushed us to work together to reach our goals.

Have you completed an internship or other hands-on learning experience? Tell us about it and what you learned from that experience.
I have had many field experiences through the education program on campus. These were amazing opportunities to showcase my strengths and weaknesses and show me what I can work towards. I am very fortunate to be able to go out to these experiences in the field.
