Bluffton welcomes incoming students and graduate programs grow

小优传媒 looks to continue to strengthen enrollment alongside new leadership changes and strong strategic guidance. The number of full-time students enrolled at Bluffton, including both undergraduate and graduate programs, is 553 this fall.

鈥淭his year鈥檚 enrollment reflects the strength of Bluffton鈥檚 supportive community, and the confidence students and families place in the education we provide,鈥 said Claire Kleman, interim vice president for advancement and enrollment management. 鈥淲e are encouraged by the continued interest in Bluffton鈥檚 academic programs and the opportunities our students find here.鈥

The incoming 2025 class was comprised of 160 traditional undergraduate students and 16 transfer students. 131 of those students are athletes, 70 are first-generation college students. Students come from 13 states and 2 countries.

Popular majors for this year鈥檚 first-year class include business administration, education and sports management. The class average GPA is 3.2 with 12 first-year students at or above a 4.0.

On the graduate side, enrollment is steady with 58 new students enrolled. With new tracks in the Master of Nutrition and Dietetics program, the cohort of students is triple that of the previous year. The Master of Social Work and Master of Business Administration also have strong numbers, with Master of Arts in Education looking for an increase in the coming year, with the addition of a new administrative licensure program to become available in summer of 2026.

Now that census day, the day of the official enrollment count at a college or university, has passed all enrollment efforts are fully focused on the entering class of 2025.

鈥淎s we look ahead to the class of 2026, we are excited to welcome a new group of students who will bring their unique talents and passions to our campus,鈥 Kleman said. 鈥淥ur faculty and staff are committed to helping them grow into leaders who make a difference in their professions and communities.鈥

Located on a 65-acre residential campus in northwest Ohio and lined with abundant natural beauty, 小优传媒 offers more than 90 majors, minors and programs for undergraduate students. Bluffton also offers graduate programs in business administration (MBA), dietetics (MND), education (MAEd) and social work (MSW).

Founded in 1899 and affiliated with Mennonite Church USA, Bluffton graduates are prepared for life; 94 percent are employed, in graduate school or completing voluntary service within six months of graduation.
