Prothro named certified coach

Marathana Prothro, assistant professor of communication at 小优传媒, has been named a Designing Your Life certified coach.

As an instructor for Bluffton鈥檚 Becoming a Scholar class, Prothro incorporates a design thinking pedagogical approach within the curriculum for Bluffton鈥檚 first-year students. This curriculum methodology was originally developed by Stanford University and modified for Bluffton鈥檚 use. It helps students build a framework for and a deeper understanding of their college experience.

The certification allows Prothro to use Designing Your Life principles to coach people seeking to embrace their own unique potential and design joy-filled lives either as individuals or in small-group settings.
