Faith and memory
Looking back on the past academic year, I find myself reflecting on challenges and triumphs, both for our campus community and in the world around us.
In times of significant disruption, many of us turn to our faith and the memories of God鈥檚 faithfulness as sources of strength and hope.
This issue of Bluffton is dedicated to this year鈥檚 Civic Engagement Theme of 鈥淔aith and Memory in Challenging Times.鈥 As we look back, I cannot help but discern God鈥檚 providence in the selection of that theme: it has woven itself powerfully throughout our campus experiences. From the struggles we鈥檝e faced to the moments of profound connection and reflection, we have seen how faith and memory sustain us in uncertain times.

truly became his own.
Julia is pursuing her Master of Divinity at Indiana Wesleyan University. The heart
of her work remains the same: connecting with people, bridging gaps and following
the call she鈥檚 heard all along.
